The 2020 Ottawa Improv Festival is in downtown Ottawa at Arts Court, which is at 2 Daly Ave., steps from the Rideau Centre and a short walk to the ByWard Market. The festival runs over three days, February 27 to 29, 2020.

Theatre and Library

Thursday and Friday shows will be in the Arts Court Theatre. Saturday 7 pm and 9 pm shows will also be held there.

Saturday 7:15 pm show will run at the same time as the 7 pm show. It will be in the Arts Court Library.

Volunteers and posted signs at Arts Court will direct you to those spaces.

There will be a bar with beer, wine, cider and nonalcoholic beverages available in the Arts Court Studio.


Patrons with mobility devices can access the Arts Court Theatre through the Ottawa Art Gallery (OAG, 10 Daly) and taking the elevator to 3rd floor, which connects to Arts Court. Please arrive a few minutes early in case the elevator is in use.

The Arts Court Library (7:15 Saturday show) can be accessed by entering via OAG through the main floor, and taking Arts Court elevator A to the 2nd floor.

There is an accessible washroom on 3rd floor. Turn right after exiting the elevator. Some front row seating is removable in Arts Court Theatre for patrons using wheelchairs upon request.

From Arts Court website: Arts Court recommends using the Ottawa Art Gallery elevators and then transferring over to the Arts Court Theatre. Their Elevator “B” is out of service.


From Arts Court website: “From the west or east, take the 417 (Queensway) to the Nicholas Street exit. At the lights, continue on Waller Street. Turn left on Daly Avenue. Parking is available in the underground parking lot at the Rideau Centre.”
