The 2020 Ottawa Improv Festival is the city’s premier showcase for hilarious, unscripted comedy and theatre. This annual festival features top performers from Ottawa, Toronto, Guelph, Montreal, Sarasota, Boston and more. From improvised plays to rapid-fire theatre games, there is something for everyone!

The festival runs three nights (February 27 to 29) at Arts Court Theatre and Library.

How do I buy tickets?

Friday $36 all-night pass

Friday 7 pm $20 (early show)

Friday 9 pm $20 (late show)

NOTE: Saturday 7 pm and 7:15 pm shows run at the same time. The Saturday all-night pass is for 7 pm and 9 pm shows.

Saturday $40 all-night pass (Arts Court Theatre)

Saturday 7 pm $22 (early show)

WARNING: The Ottawa Improv Festival has sold out our Saturday evening shows in advance for the last four years. The Friday shows have also sold out on the nights of. If you want to guarantee yourself a seat, we highly recommend you buy tickets online ahead of time (see above) to avoid disappointment.

How do I buy tickets in-person?

The box office at Arts Court opens at about 6 pm each night.

What time do I show up?

The box office and the bar open at 6 pm each night. Early shows start at 7 pm. On Friday and Saturday, late show starts at 9 pm.

WARNING: If ticket holders are absent 15 minutes into the show, we may offer those seats to volunteers or performers. So, it is important for ticket holders to arrive on time.
